Most awesome car on SM. Haha. Any black lincoln or any other american luxury car(caddy etc) from the 60s is just cool. I dont know what it is, But, just cool. I also just found an original orange 71 nova straight 6 for sale for the same price! might be mine soon

Which motor is in it? The 462ci? (That's 7.6L for you metric folk)

I'd say convert to fuel injection, and supercharge that bastard! 650hp is just nice in a car with big cubes.

Yea its the 462 which sucks cause their is almost nothing made for the motor. Even finding gaskets seem's to be hard. I need to replace the oil pan gasket and valve cover gaskets this weekend, then I can at least drive it.

I considering using toyota form a gasket. think so?

Or maybe try Permatex The Right Stuff, that shit seals amazing. I've used it one 3 oil pans now and not a leak from one of them.

I actualy just ordered new oil pan and valve cover gaskets from felpro.

I figured thad be the best. 25 bux and I get them all today. Then I can at least drive the car. Oil leaks out of the oil pan gasket when it's running right now so I cant drive it far. I'll change it tomarow and at least be able to cruise the car around a bit!

then its on to steering box issues, bad shifter, and electrical problems.......

This is going to be a HUGE project.
