Well it went down.... mix results..
First race me w/ the cougar.. I lost!! :aigo: :cry:
Now the excusses.. I spun and didn't launch good.. so we were side by side.. I start to pull slightly as the rpms come up.. then it shifts at 4k! NOOO!!! i forgot to push the etc power button!
so he started pulling.. I hit the button and keep chugging.. He gets about 1.5-2 cars on my and finally getting into my powerband (4k+) in 2nd and start to reel him back slowly.. i dont have enough though and we finish with me on his bumper
I cant believe it.. after all my bs i was slinging i couldn't live up to it :3d_frown:
So i wanted a rematch. This time I use the footbrake and the ebrake.. launch out.. by like 50 mph i have 2+ cars on him and just keep going and win by 3+ maybe more.. i stopped looking, haha... oh well at least i won like I knew i would
So now I race Josh (the reaper). I do the same (footbrake + ebrake) and get a good launch again (i get the jump + 1 car) i was hoping he was going to bog bad or spin really bad, he did neither.. damn! so i keep going he fell out of boost a little bit so it took him till mid to the top of 2nd gear then just drove by me like nothing
So I let my car cool a little bit now as My buddy with the rsx-s races josh.. Josh wiped for the floor with him.. lol..
So a few minutes later.. I got with the RSX-S.. We line up and have josh (the reaper) flag us.. I get another decent launch.. pulled ~ 1 car on the rsx on the launch, and pulled about another .5 cars before his vtec hits.. SHHHIIT!! i knew i was in trouble then.. He drove better then I thought.. lol So he start comming back on me.. slowly inching back.. By begining of 3rd gear hes even and starts pulling about .5 cars then lets out (didn't know where the end was..)
He wanted another run to try to launch better so we went again.. I launched even better (got like 3-4 psi off the line) I pulled about 1.5-2 cars and again starts comming back.. Same as last race, even by the bigining of 3rd gear and keeps pulling.. He ends up 1.5 cars out front!
so I was 1 of 4 :cry: I dont think its going to run as fast I was thinknig at the track (was thinking low 15s.. to high 14s).. but will probably be mid 15s (15.7-15.5)
We hit up the track in 2 weeks.. cant wait to see what it does..
My buddy with the rsx-s had his d-slr camera out there so maybe i'll have a new sig pic soon.. Will get hte pics up tomorrow..
Oh, and I did find a working stock bov before I left to race.. so cant even use that excuse
