1. Find a job that gives you more than 15 hours per week.
2. Learn maths.
3. Get GED.
4. Go to college.
5. ........
6. Profit.

This.

I chose not to go to College and now I wish I would have. I don't regret anything but I never could make up my mind on what I wanted to do with my life. But I'd have to say just about anything that pays better then what's available to you with just a HS education would most likely be worth the schooling.

I've made pretty good money at my jobs with just a high school education, around $14+ an hour but with a lot of hours, night shifts, and physical labor. $14+ an hour may sound nice to a person who has just a HS education but as you get older you start to realize that's not enough for much extra.

I wouldn't recommend being a mechanic though.

Yea ive basicly kinda givin up on the mechanic spectical of being
my income for the rest of my life cause it most likley wont happen unless
i open a shop and become huge...

So ive given that the catagory of a hobby as of now and down the road.

I guess ill just take it one step at a time...?
Do you have to pay monthley on a student loan to pay it off
or do they got things where you can pay it after your done with school and all?

Apply at Wal-Mart.

Most community colleges also have a GED program.

If Taco Bell wont give you more hours, Find a new job. Their food may be good, but shit.

Why wont your grandparents let you stay with them? Offer to pay some rent or utilities.

-Get your damn GED already, its really not hard.
-Move on to community college after that.
-You can transfer to any state school after you get your associates (2yr) degree.
-You can get student loans (dont have payments until after you graduate)
-If you cant find job full time, get more jobs, 3 15hr/wk jobs is gonna pay just as well as 1 40hr/wk job. Plus if you get canned, then you only loose 1/3 of your income.
-Room mates=super cheap rent. If you can find a 4 bedroom for 1200/mo, thats only 300 a month per bedroom, that you + your girl can share=rent @ 150/mo.

I can understand you wanting to be a mechanic, however, fixing modding your car, is nothing like fixing other peoples stupid ass fucked up problems on their dirty shitbox. It gets old fast.

Theres people that say and people that do.
Go do work son!

I don't know what your local recruiter told you, but the army does not require you to have college credits, only a ged or high school diploma.
Go for your Ged.
It's a key that unlocks many doors.
Try the navy, army, coast guard etc..
Apply at your local utility companies, city jobs, etc.
Good Luck

If you have a passion for fixing your Supra, after going to school as a mechanic and then working for more than 2 or 3 years, depending on your tolerance, that passion can, and probably will, dissapear. It's just the daily grind brought home with you. I know mechanics that only get work done at the dealership because they don't want to even think about working on a car when they get home. Not true for every mechanic, but... something to keep in mind.

Go back to highschool, don't ever give up or stop trying. Find doors that are open to get you through college, techschool, university, whatever, and get it done. A 2 year diploma will mean making +50000/yr after a year or two of experience, vs... what you make now.
