The Supra was just jealous. Thats all. It was slowly dumping the gas the whole way muttering "no this bitch aint gonna steal my money and my man!"
My car is like that. Didn't start acting up 'til she met the wife.

oddly enough, whenever i picked up one of my previous girlfriends, and my current one, i made sure i had a full tank of gas. one of my favorite pastimes is to drive around. you can get to know a lot about someone just by driving around, listening to good music of her choice (albeit, quietly) and talking.

take some back roads, just drive slowly, and have fun. :) innocent fun.

I did this last night at 2 AM. Sneaking out and being out past curfew adds a little bit of fun to the equation :runaway: :runaway: :icon_bigg

^That's good. And I'm sure it's one of those uncommon experiences- running gout of gas on a date and all. If I were you, I would have just acted like I planed it so that the date would be even more memorable.

On the other hand... I'm with SP 7M in that I'm not sure how you ran out of gas in the first place. But I did have a weird gauge once so I'll give you that. It sucked never knowing if it was lying to you or not. So I just filled up like every other day because I was super paranoid about running out of gas.

kind of related to this but when I had my Grand prix the starter was going bad. We happend to go out to an old park and well when it came time for when we were going to leave, it didnt want to start yet. So I told my date that we just had to let the starter "cool off", btw it was in the summer. Well after talking for a bit, it ended up going my way and getting myself lucky.

LOL yea I am paranoid bout gas issues, I always fill when it gets to the hash mark above the E, usually has a gallon or 2 left at that point. Gas is expensive though your better off syphoning it out of a 911 turbo or ferrari you may encounter in a richer parking lot LOL.

I agree with you wills, but it's frustrating when you get your sypon hose and can all ready, and the dang car has a block in the tank. I don't know what you call it, a piece of metal where your hose won't fit in the tank. That really pisses me off. I've found out that you have to steal gas from the cheaper cars and then add some octane boost. Works pretty good............lol

Good luck with your next date...............
