I think my AVC-R doesn't like anything over 150mph!
(hope it isn't totally broke...maybe it just reaches a certain number and says "woah wacko that's fast" and starts flipping out)

it's the 3.73 Diff on 255/40/17 tires...looking at the RPM's I don't think I was going quite 150, if my math is right that is...it was probably just speedo error that said ~155mph. But it was still fast enough to make the AVC go nuts.
but why 444? why couldn't it be some weird twisted number of doom like "666"....I'd be checking my oil and overflow hourly after something like that!

My GPS was reading 155 mph @ 5600 but I didn't have time to compare the reading to the stock speedo as it was at night and we were coming up to a railway crossing complete with train!

been to 160 in my 91 auto.
3.73 Diff w/ .705 4th gear i think i can top out at like 183mph on 225/50/16 tires.

It's something like 200 mph @ 7500 (my motor easily revs to 7700)
ND 160 in your car will be 6000 rpm and 183 will be 6800, what are your mods to let you run that hard up top?

IJ i was just before redline.
Im saying theoretically given the gear ratios i could achieve 183 top speed in the auto 3.73's.
and ive taken my sup to 160 not too sure what the RPM was at though IIRC it was indeed around 5.7-6k

ND: Yep 6000/160 in top isn't a bad effort at all!
