So I think I hurt my shoulder (I'm at work)

ok now my manager called me lastnight and said to go to the clinic in jersey...so i drove fuckin 35-45 minutes. After waiting forever they doctor made me do some excercises and took Xrays, after he got the xrays he said it didnt look like there was much wrong, so he said it was a sprain muscle in right shoulder. I highly doubt that a sprain muscle would feel this bad. So im getting two results from two different doctors. Now i called my manager and he told me if i was going to go back to work today and i said no it still hurt, so he's going to take off some of my PTO (personal time off) which i dont think is right, anyway they want me go back to the clinic in jersey on monday to see how things are then. fuckin doctor told me to take some asprin and place a cold bag on my shoulder followed by a hot shower with some excercises he showed me. Fuck him, im not going back monday, i already hafta work monday so im not driving back and forth 2 times to jersey. I rather get my MRI done and if theres more than a sprain muscle...well i'll be very upset.

^ uhhh... if you refuse treatment, the insurance company may decide not to cover. Do what they tell you if you want them to cover it... MRI's aren't the cheapest things in the world.

old lady had a knee injury...three years of pain and suffering and pills later, they finally relented and let her go to a "real" doctor.
surgery and a few weeks of pt, and we were back to doing kinky stuff in bed

of course co doctor wants it to be only a sprain...and when it is a torn ligament a year for now, you will finally get to go have it fixed the right way..
the company's dr is there to save the company money....you need to go to workman comp omnbudsman, insist on getting the care YOUR doctor feels you need....been there, done that.....

hey man, i didnt realize it was this serious when I talked to you. Sorry to hear it. If ya need anything give me a call. Ill be back in philly tomarow. Just be careful with dealing with the companies doctors. I dont believe they can stop you from going to your own doctor on top of seeing theirs, also try talking to your doctor about whats going on. Maybe he could call and give his opinion or something.
