So last night I doing a bit of street tuning trying to get my MBC dialed in and after one of the pulls the cars starts running super lean, and bogging sputtering, I'm thinking ok WTF, I pull over, pop the hood, and the #1 injector had popped out. It had happened once before but I was in a parking lot when it occurred and it hasn't done it since.
I start the car back up all seems normal. I start to head home and I decide to just see if it hurt anything, and to see if it's going to pop out again. I do a short quick 5-8lb hit and AFR's instantly go super rich. So I get out of it, and the WB stays reading rich until the motor shuts off. I coasted it onto the side of the road, popped the hood thinking maybe I had blown an IC pipe off, they're all fine, but that fucking injector had popped out again. I pop it back in and go to try and start the car and it won't crank, as in feels like something is keeping the motor from being able to turn over.
I called and talked to Jose last night about the whole situation while on the side of the road, and it sounds like the motor is hydrolocked due to fuel. The oil does have a fuel smell to it and during the first pull AFR's were in the 10.5 range, boost was around 10-11psi, and I was on a pump/100 mix. He mentioned it had happened to him to. And, that he was able to save the motor so I'm crossing my fingers.
I know it's my own fault, and definitely a lesson learned, just hoping I can save the motor.
