How bout on the other end? Mine works fine for me for the most part. But everyone I talk to says they can hear themselves echo and barely hear me. I need a new one.
Model Number?

Just don't wear it around all the time. I've seen people who wear them, even when they are not on the phone. It's a tool, not a fashion accessory, you know?

my mom and dad both have that headset.
I can tell when they are on them from sound quality, but they seem to like them well enough.
For the price you can't beat it.

The douchebag service writer at my work that thinks he's much more important than he is, always wears one at work. He'll have it on all day and call his family like once an hour and walk around just to feel important.

I have the motorola ?800 or some crap like that. they're actually great for driving (stick shift) and I usually wear mine around work all the time (motorla q phone is easier to leave on the desk). It's just simpler to reach up and push one button. Really comfy too...hardly ever remember it's there. Only problem is it's too quiet. I think that's a prob. with my current software on the phone.
