if you want to know the ratio, just count the teeth on the ring gear, and divide by the teeth on the pinion. For example: 41 teeth divided by 10 = 4.10
so , anyone have a pic of a torsen diff on the inside so I have an idea on what they look like ?:biglaugh:

There's a bunch of small worm gears in there.
The Diff you have is a single wheel "open" centre.

Will, that is not an LSD 
The large gear is the ring gear, it is turned (driveline side of the diff) by the pinion. Count the pinion teeth and divide into the ring gear teeth to determine the ratio. Im guessing you didnt get what you paid for.
if it was an LSD you would see something that looks kinda like this:
note the spring looking things in the area that you have basically a set of 4 gears? Not the best picture but I was too lazy to find better. If you paid for an LSD you did NOT get one and should probably file an ebay claim.

still gotta get it inspected, an the guy knows I have a straight pipe in the cats place witch doesnt mate up 100 % so he knows theres a exhaust leap ... an have to find my passenger front side marker to put on to pass inspection... ,
