So I actually got to drive my supra today!

Well little background first, I got an 87 Turbo 6 months ago thats been sitting at work. It has a BHG. I wasnt sure if thats ALL that was wrong with it though. So today since I had time finally, I got it up in the air and drained out was was about 10% oil, 90% coolant. eww.....

Lowered it down, put fresh oil in, turned her over, and she fired up after a few tries. She ran like pure sex. Was great, no hiccups or anything, enough to tell me teh rest of her is in order. I did a few other things and parked her. Soon I will begin taking off the head to get her running right.

I only drove it 20ft but dammit that made my day :icon_bigg

I know the feeling. I've only driven mine twice since January and both times it was blowing a Bondish smokescreen but it was sooo nice. Can't believe you sold the Celica :nono:

Dude, had to, it was in no shape to restore... I got myself an amazing little civic for $225, so I cant complain and its solid. Did a HG job on it too so thats no worry.

i know that feeling!

got my 1JZ swapped and all after ~8 months. Drove it around a friend's storage lot only to find out the alternator's on its way out, brake master cylinder needs a rebuild, clutch slave cylinder needs a rebuild, and possibly the power steering pump as well....oh joy...

get that hizzoe up and running already!
