Originally before using the e.z out, I did drill all the way through the bolt with the bit size designed for the e.z out to work successfully. I wanted to save the threads and the hassle of retapping the block, but I realize now that would have been 10x easier than getting this e.z out to back out. It looks like in order to do this on my own, I will either need to use a dremel, or try the draino trick otherwise I'm probably going to have to leave it up to the professionals unless anyone else hears of or knows of more tricks of the trade to remediate this situation.

Dremel what's left of the ezyout down as much as you can then take a pin punch smaller than the hole and punch the ezyout through into the water jacket.
(I don't have a block here to check if the hole with the broken bolt is a through or blind hole as you haven't provided any pics)

I can feel the back of the block where the hole comes out. It's about 1/2" thick. I will get you guys some pictures as soon as possible so you can get a better idea of what I'm dealin with. What are the benefits of using a dremel vs. a regular hand drill?

A drill won't touch the ezyout as they're about as hard as each other, the dremel with a srone will grind it down, you're trying to reduce it's diameter so it can be punch through the hole and out the back of the bolt.

It's either that or try the Lye thing, I've never done it but have heard of it before so it might be worth a shot at this stage as EDM is always expensive.
