Easy tiger.

White can be a number of things: Oil or water. Rings, exhaust turbine seal on turbo, BHG.

You need to check the turbo for shaft play and you need to do a compression & leak down test on the engine.

Report back to us what you find.

well last time i checked my ic pipes and there is some oil, its def not coolant. motor had a hg job about 6 months ago and runs fine besides the lil bit of smoke... the smoke might even be blue its hard to tell sometimes (its not alot at all and only does it if i stomp on it, not normal accel).. actually come to think of it my car has had the lil puff even before i went turbo and the HG job, so i'm not sure if its more smoke than before or not.. hope this helps. oh yea turbo has some shaft play... (i am really leaning towards the turbo, but i know the car smoked before it was turboed but just a tad... maybe valve seals??)

nah no compression test since i don't have the tools, i'm running 8psi and the motor has 59k original miles, it started at 50k with a turbo, and i bought it with 28k. i really hope its not the rings.... the other thing is before i went turbo the car had a turbo fuel regulator on it for some reason.. could that have caused some of the previous smoking?
