If you find out that your turbos are bad, I have a set of stock twins up for sale. They worked just fine when I took them off to go single. However there is one thing wrong with them. The front turbo needs a new inlet housing (you have on your car right now). It broke when I crashed my first Supra (no harm to turbo). I took the motor out, and went single turbo in another supra because I couldn't find just the front housing to buy. This will be much cheaper than going single turbo. I'm willing to sell them for $150. Let me know if you're interested.

That's not good. It doesn't sound like a turbo issue. Sounds to me like you might want to do a compression test. White smoke is usually coolant.

Yeah, white smoke usually means coolant! I had white smoke coming from my 7M when I blew my head gasket and the coolant bubbled out of the exhaust manifold in a white smoke!

I can't remember what numbers i got when I compression tested last. As long as the numbers are all around the same, you should be fine.

smoke smells like oil sometimes and kinda smells like smoke you get from seafoam... did compression test and 1 was 10 psi lower than the other 5, rechecked it 3 times and had same result

The head shouldn't be cleaner than the block, the valve cover screws always loosen & leak. My gut instinct says that the head was rebuilt & the headgasket isn't sealed....

Well, pulled my valve covers and found water in my oil. After doing a cylinder leak down test and a coolant system pressure test we determined that my head gasket is not leaking? Hrmm... Any clue how water is getting into my oil if that is the case?

About to push this POS off a cliff.

i would friggin hope he changed the oil before he fired it up!!!!

first thing i did was rip the harness off for extension.....then changed the filter....dropped motor in and put some cheap AZ oil in it to clean it out and then put the good stuff in

yes i did change the oil... and ill do it again with some cheap oil, but how would it explain the smoke only under boost? would it be because the water is thining out the oil and causing it to leak through seals?
