you say the cat is new, right? Was it installed backwards?
Also The A/C system can smell like that in the car if you have a leak detector in the lines and it leaks out into your heater core. And the battery could smell like that is the voltage regulator in your alternator is dead and you're over charging you battery. (you know this). Hapy hunting

People seemed to ignore my post. I'm almost sure that's what it is. A battery WILL NOT give off a strong enough smell to be inside the cab. A bad cat will smell like rotten eggs BEHIND the car.

how much you want to bet you have an exhaust leak at the flange at the front of the cat, and possibly at the back...

at the front it will add more air and the cat will run hot, rear will allow you to smell it in the cab

get it fixed before you die from carbon monoxide poisoning...

Make sure yoy didn't run over an animal, if they get stuck in your undercarage they can burn and cook on hot parts and smell horrible.

I was under there the other night and didn't see any animals.:biglaugh: See I know that the car will run rich with boost. But it only does it for like the first 5 minutes every time I start the car and run it in boost. It prabably is just running rich, but I figured that it would be a different smell. Something like when a car is flooded.

First five minutes uh? Do you think the smell has something to do with the Oxygen Sensor? Our ECU's don't even look at our O2 sensors until they are warmed up.
