sluggish all the time

ok everytime i drive my car, for about 10 minutes of driving, everything is fine. but when i drive it again, everything is cool, untill i slow down and then speed up, like at a intersection. then when i accellerate, it become sluggish, and runs crappy. it does it more and more often throughout the day. no code, but i need to find what it is.

i changed my plugs this summer, and i checked them just this past weekend. and they were all good. and i believe my timing is set at 10 above tdc. i'm not sure though.

I would check it as it could be your problem, also have you checked the spark plug gap, needs to be checked even with new plugs before you install them. Check your rotor and distributor cap, clean your intake after the TB as it gets gummed up with PVC crap. Another thing referred to as "tune-up" is setting the valve lash. All stuff that AF1JZ mentioned as minor tune-up. There's probably a few more things. Check the TSRM for tune up info.

auto tranny? Check, the tranny fluid to TSRM. How many miles on that beast?

yeah its an auto. and 190,000 on chasis and 80,000 on the motor. i would never guess low trani fluid would do that.

Original catalytic converter? It could be plugged up.

no cat at all. but i don;t understand it, i just checked my plugs again, and the sputtering reduced drastically. so i don;t know what happened.
