Slim psp questions

Im realy thinking about picking up a slim psp SW bundle. Im wondering what kind of mods are out there that work with the new slim. I want to run psx games as my main reason for having it, movies would be a plus. I know thats easy with the older psp's just not sure if the new slim has some funky firmware going on?

Also is there software to rip your own psx games or do you have to acquire games already setup to run on the psp? **not asking where to download games**

Does the TV out on the new psp's look good, enough to be playable/movies or is it just gimmicky?

I'd suggest picking up a regular PSP if you want to mod. The slim is still in the process of being ha><0r3d. I'm running PS1 games on my original black PSP (Gran Turismo 2), and running things off the memory stick is tres funky. Nice battery life too :)

Plus, the original only cost me &#163;118 with a 1gb memory stick and the pouch...

Ya I thought about just picking up an original but the new slim is pretty cheap so seemed like it would be worth just buying new. Seems like its also alot smaller which is cool. Plus Im not a big fan of buying used portables and ending up with dead batteries, scratched screen, dead pixels, etc.

Ive had mine for 2 years or so now, hacked the hell out of it. But of course what I love the most is my FF7 and 8 on my psp... 2gb stick, SNES emu, the whole kit and kaboodle. I love it.

Yea thats what I want, just in the new slim lol.
