yep...

i have a metal head gasket and rough start up. then when fan kicks on it stops and runs fine. losing water slowly. re torqued the arps to 85. still same problem. though the plugs are fowling out, especially number 2, oil leaks past spark plugs. no codes. ran like a beast when i did a top in clean out, but it's starting to slow down again...my freeze plugs blew out, and i drove it home(fixed a while back). possible it could have warped the head slightly. some days it runs good, and some it runs like shite.....

What's a guy too do????

I mean we keep building them.

They aren't losing any popularity among folks.

These things are so hit and miss. It could have been 1 of 100 things.

Cool pics BD. Sorry it had to be you that had them.

ah it's cool, lol. It happens to the best.

I'm not made of money, but i will say I'm made of patience.

;]

And the funny thing is i just bought another supra...lol...WHOOOT! BHG'S FOR EVERYONE!

I will say i figured out my mistakes.

1. 85 ft/lbs on ARP's.....
2. if your freeze plugs blow out because the machinest didn't put right size in....don't go back to that machinest.
3. Don't have rods RE-SURFACED......
4. don't drive car when freeze plugs blow out...LOL

Oil is good and there is no build up on the oil cap.

Everything seems excellent. Except the cooling.

The waterfall effect was happening a lot for a while, now it has stopped....my car just gets mad sometimes....lol.

I cleaned the cap and area with the slime and it hasn't come back....weird!

My car is prolly playing a joke on me....SILLY SUPRA! YOU QUIPSTER YOU!

I'd say that motor has already bit the dust.

I think i could get another 6 months out of it! if i take it REAL easy ;]

I saw this olschool toyota car going down the road the other day that was:
squealing
knocking
blowing smoke
been wrecked
bent wheel
6 different colors
no exhaust

still going, saw it the other day, doing the exact same thing. lol

Did you mix red and green coolant by chance at all?

I.E. Did you buy the car with green, flush it, and throw red in?

Do a Compression test. :)
