after a little searching and alot of threads with people that insalled such and such, and no reasons why or how it turned out, I'd like to see if i can get a bunch of people to respond with what they installed, why, how much$ and how they like it afterwards.
I am running original suspension on my 88T and when i really get on it, i can lose control easily. the car sways really bad and needs a little stiffer suspension. Im not looking to lower the car because I already bottom out going down my crappy bumpy street as well as going into my driveway, but for a better ride I'd be willing to lower it some, but as little as possible. I dont want the ride to be harsh and jarring as i live on a bumpy road and drive it all the time. maybe something adjustable that i can stiffen up when I want to get on it a little. what would you suggest I get
pics would be great if you have them as well.
thanks,
Ryan

I'll start out with what I have:

I have Tein HA coilovers on my car. They were used and purchased from Jarco for $500. The reason I bought them is because they were just a little bit more that brand new springs and struts and they're totally adjustable which I figured would be nice. I was afraid I would end up spending ~ $400 on springs and shocks only to not like them. At least this way I have control over the height and stiffness.

Around here the roads are either really smooth or really bumpy. I have them set on the second softest setting. Funny story: one night I took the car out and started playing with the stiffness settings. I cranked them all the way to the stiffest (I think what Tein calls N1 Spec) and started driving on the streets. About five minutes later I pulled over because I felt like I was going to throw up. If you think roads are bumpy with stock or slightly stiffer suspension, you have no idea until you have it on N1 settings.

Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase, although Jarco now has a set of HKS Hypermax2's for sale that I am giving a serious look at.

if you like the ones now, what is better about the hks hypermax2's?
