Sleeper Supra?

People didn't really know what it was, because it's not black. Was a really fun car though, never ran it at the track but on low boost it felt like a low 12's car, full weight with everything working. Turn the boost up and it was mid 11's easy.

The Supra, definitely not a sleeper, nor could I ever make it that. The only thing it has going for it in that regard is that I'm running upgraded 12b's. That look stock, and I can say and do say they are the stock turbos for that motor, b/c most people don't know the difference.

And yes I have a thing for dark gray colored cars.

it could be a sleeper. eh, even though i'm stock 1j i still consider mine a sleeper, especially with the domino's sign. well since thats what most people say i meet them. they say they woulda never guessed it would be that fast.

sleeper = slow unsporty unexpecting car thats fast. supras arent known for beign slow, look to agressive stock to be considered a sleeper. and people often expect them to have modifications.

if a camry, minivan, escort, etc were modified to be really fast but still look stock. thats a sleeper.

Mine is a little unexpecting but I still wouldnt call it a sleeper. Most people in my town see older cars and just assume they are slow, the gy driveing his brand new 07 mustang GT thought the same thing when he pulled up next to me. All he said is "nice exhaust" I just said "yeah it is" he reved I did as well. I had 2 and half car lengths on him from a stand still he never saw it coming.:biglaugh:

i would disagree with people here because most people call it a celica and only think the mk4's are fast, and every other version of the supra or celicasupra is slow, so i think it can be a a sleeper. I agree with The Reaper,

T-type, same thing as a GN, just less options, lighter, more rare, and you can get them in different colors than black. And there are IIRC only 547 real GNX's, and they are SUPER expensive for what they are.

I think it depends on if your supras got any mods because i've known a lot of people that think my cars just a v6 and not that fast. I had a guy in a cobalt tell me that he could beat me. So all the v8 guys and many others think it's just a stupid import.
