Sizing up intercooler piping

I have a 1j going into my mk3 with a ct26 soon 57 trim.What diameter of intercooler piping should i use? I am using a precision turbo 750hp intercooler not sure of end tank sizes can go measure because its in my car here at work though. My hp goal is somewhere around 400whp.

haha yeah i know its a tiny turbo compared to alot of ppl on here but i think itll give me what i want....so seriously 2.5 right?

yea 2.5 is fine.. itll work for 500whp

Can the 1jz make more power with a upgraded or stock ct26 then a 7m?also thanks for the feedback . Any suggestions or where to get a nice cheap universal kit with 4 ply couplers?

Most people run 2.5 without any probs...it's also alot easier to install than larger sizes

2.5" also has slightly less initial pressure drop, so I've seen at least.. thats on stock twins.

I've seen alot of 3" > 2.5" reducers on the TB side.. But if you fought it you may be able to use a straight 2.5" coupler I suppose :shrug:
