I guess I don't understand. This turbo has a 3" inner diameter on the exhaust housing. the flange itself is 4". Granted the turbo is big as crap. I don;t belive the power band to be as late as 5500rpms. this is an ebay gt45 not an actual garret. I'm not by any means talking down to you at all. I know of your store and I acknowledge that you have background in this area. I'm just checking all my ave.'s

You're going to be outrun by everything from redlight to redlight. You will eventually catch up with them though. You really don't need that big a turbo for a 2.5 liter. Good luck with it though.

That's a huge turbo. All you need now is headwork, aftermarket FFIM, huge lift cams, 1600cc injectors, three walbros, standalone, TH400, 315mm wide rear drag radials, C16, and a proper tune.

See how much power that stock block can take!

I say go with a 4 inch exhaust all the way and just run open downpipe!

What exhaust manifold are you going to use? So far, either custom or the MTR one (maybe) are the only ones that will support that turbo you've got there that I know of.

You put that GT45 on a chinaman manifold or any other without reinforcements, and you will fail, bigtime.

Seriously... Try a 61mm turbo.

I agree if you go with a turbo that big lag will be a issue..but lag is over rated, just down shift..:) what are you aiming for? 6-700hp?

OK
i would imagine that turbo is gonna be pretty laggy cuz my pt70 does see full boost untill around 51-5200 rpms on 19psi with a .81 a/r
