wow this thread got kinda big. thanks for the comments guys makes me feel a little better, people here sure are a lot nicer than that "other" forum. anyways for those that are asking this is lake hughes rd in castaic, ca. yeah i'll admit i kinda pushed hard f*cked the line up and lost control. not the car or the road's fault all mine. anyways i love my car too much to get rid of her. i know it sounds crazy bout i'm gonna try and restore her. the frame is still straight. i'll need is a fender, molding, bubble marker, nose, and turn signal. luckily my empty front clip has all that although the fender is kinda dented but ALOT better than my current one. i gonna try to fix it this sat. the head light still works but will probably look worse than my sig. hehe somebody get me on "OVERHAULIN" asap just tell 'em to stay away from the motor.

yeah, and another supra is gonna go to the crusher :nono:
Ive seen rusted out Canadian supra's become restored and were in far worse condition.

Not "Canadian cars" but back east cars are mostly the rusted out Supras. (Unless they are not winrter driven)

Duane

I agree with the shell idea..get a new one.

Let me know if you want this buble marker. I have one good one and it's on the passengers side. If you need it, I'll give it to you for the small price of one ROTY vote next year if I make it into the top twelve. I will need you to sign a contract in your own blood stating that you will vote for me in every round.....................:biglaugh:

Good job SC. I missed that the first time.

next time you understeer that har, just pull the handbrake.

its better to spin out and not hit anything than to shoot right into a guardrail, or off of a cliff.

the only time I ever hit anything that hard in my supra was when I threw a rod, and oil got under my fron tires mid-turn @ ~70mph. took it right into the side of a mountain w/out slowing down a bit because of that.

that was the supras final voyage...

Damn Dale, that sucks big time. Atleast I'm not the only stubborn Supra owner who refuses to get rid of their Supra and fix it up instead. Just remember, one thing at a time. That's what I'm doing. Although the shell idea isn't a bad one. You could borrow a motor hoist from a friend and swap it in yourself. Then sell your shell to help recoupe some of the money.

So sad.

Would it be easier to pull the motor and swap shells? Yes...

but as Jay said...Fuckin' A man...that's just one more Supra gone to waste.

I've been doing body work/refinishing for a while now and if I had that car, I would sure as hell fix it..........but that's me. :icon_conf

Good luck.

^ That is freaking unreal.... a nice hit like that... and it just bent that little area... Makes me feel safer driving the Supra.

U need a headlight assembly? U cover shipping and I'll get it going your way.
