so im not a huge 7m guy so my knowledge is lacking in this area.. (2jz-gte guy see other build)

to reach 400hp i would need 550cc injectors/ or 1000cc for e85 right?
can i do this on the stock headgasket with arp head studs?
i have a 67mm/89ar turbine layin around..
and id have to get a lexus afm correct? will a super afc obtain these numbers?

for some of you who don't know.. i took the 2jz from my white car and it is now in this car.. these are not current pictures. i just now learned how to upload from my iphone lol. so.. boom goes the dynamite.. ill get this thread up to date soon ;)

motor in and shit getting tied up..

p1774443_1.jpg

sweet ass intercooler support. powder coated and made by Jacob smith
p1774443_2.jpg

routing the engine harness.. such a bitch when using a JDM supra engine harness because its 18inches shorter.. so you can either lengthen it or.. cut a new hole and reroute it.. i chose rerouting, but it was a huge pain in the ass lol

in through the hole.. right behind the fuel rail (driver side. 1inch below and to the right of the throttle body cable
p1774443_3.jpg

slide past the pedal linkage..
p1774443_4.jpg

up and under the defrost vent
p1774443_5.jpg

then finally droping down in stock location.. althought the AEM EMS does not fit since its much larger.. fuu

missed some pictures.. so here they are. luckily TheMadSupra has been a super nice guy and let me use his lift a couple times.
so the Occupy lifts movement was a go.
p1777968_1.jpg

feed line.. -10an with an inline 10,100 micron filters
p1777968_2.jpg

LOOKS stock right?
p1777968_3.jpg

get in ma belly

p1777968_4.jpg

ya thats not a bad idea haha

so i had a little accident with the car last night..

i was in the middle of mounting my return stainless steel return line when i heard a little crackling sound..

the line was drapped under the car and on the engine bay, so as i am mounting i tug on the line to get a little more slack. a minute or 2 later I smell a sour scent in the air and realize that something is burning. i walk to the front of the car and Smoke is Billowing out from the hood. I rush to get the car down from the lift. only to find that the Stainless steel line is arcing on the battery and vulcanizing the rubber. Lets just say its scared the shit out of me lol. luckily only thing damaged was the return line.

p1777968_5.jpg

p1777968_6.jpg

I had originally done the same mount as 2jzmk3 and UPGRADEDsupra for my fuel pump, but for this car that will be driven so much.. i just don't want to risk it hitting something
p1777968_7.jpg

so I mounted it in the spare tire area. Aeromotive eliminator and fuel pump voltage regulator.
it will exit the pump of a elbow and then to another elbow that will be tap'd into the side of the spare tire well ( just like the one coming in )

no real updates. removed the Jdm harness that ended up just pissing me off and ordered a Chase bays plug n play harness.

You think the pump will be OK sitting above the tank like that? Aeromotive says to mount it as low as possible compared to the tank/fuel level.

yeah I have a few buddies who mounted them above and didn't have problems.. Only concern is it not getting cooled down. On my 87 i have it mounted to the subframe below.

so We will see lol.

:UPDATE:

so while I have been waiting on my harness I decided to Tint my cluster.

Started off with going out and buying some 3M 35% tint, then taking my cluster cover off
Before:

Cutting the general shape out, laid it under to see the fit

After!
425074_2901882742243_1115681602_45546508_337948805_n.jpg

Final outcome assessment.. Its "ok" Since this was my first time with tint, I'm pleased with the outcome. But still have a little to learn. Good thing I have a few cluster covers sitting around lol. It will work until I make a nicer one..

I will also be Upgrading to some decently bright L.E.D's Since the whole point of this is To "modernize" this old dash.

Update* Still waiting on my chase bays harness, was told it would ship monday. So in the mean time I've been cleaning and vacuuming. Installed most of the panels and I'm still trying to figure out how I want to mount my zetronix gauge.. Might do a lil one off holder for one the steering column neck.

Tested out my new sparco steering wheel thanks to Petewilson. Also hooked up the battery and tested out my new lights.. Looks amazing, I'm loving the blacked out when off look. Super clean

Also doing a Custom plug in setup for my Aem ems. quick easy access to the serial cable. without using up my glove box storage place.
