Hmmm... if I have a MkIV I would love to know where it is. While there are parts of the MkIV that I like I actually prefer the MkIII body over all others. If there was a MkIV in my garage I would probably sell it and pocket the cash.

http://supras.org/keith/ - this is my true love.

I was just trying to get you guys all up in arms to try and fill out the Smackdown - the single greatest gathering of MkIIIs ever assembled.
Keith, your interior is to die for, and how did you talk Elvis into posing in front of your car.....................:biglaugh:

Too far for Duane? Jake prolly wouldn't be ready, but he's planning on having 2000 HP hehe, and he's too damn far too. I'd love to be there all 225 HP, but it'd take a week drive time plus my time at the event. Too many miles to drive, and I can't afford to fly. Gonna soon be a lot of high HP MKIII's in the southeast with Justin727, reignmaker, outofstep, and more. Sorry if I forgot you, I know there are plenty more.

I'm ready for a meet with these really cool guys. I have 400hp, and can't wait to meet the Southeastern people.............lol

Suprahero - thanks for the compliment on the interior. I am very happy with it. To all those out there thinking about redoing your interior... DO IT! It is totally worth the investment. Makes the whole car feel new again.

The Elvis pic is a funny story. Picture about 150 Supras at the Show-and-Shine in 1999. I turn around and there he is just wandering through. Said he was passing between the hotels and saw something going on so he thought he'd come check it out. We've had other guys dressed in cheezy Elvis costumes show up too but the one in 1999 was an "actual" impersonator. I just couldn't resist getting a picture with him and my Supra.

VIVA LAS VEGAS!

Are you actually going to drive the Supra though? ;) I did.

Duane
Not across the ocean, but I will drive it from Ohio, 1986.7 miles away, according to mapquest.

It will be pretty cool to see some cover cars in person.

Cool! It would be a good drive for you then. I know of a guy last year that drove 3200 miles one way ;)
I LOVE long drives in the Supra. I think I may get a roof rack for it LOL

I have driven Toledo (home) to Denver (transplanted home) many times. It is a nice drive in the Supra. It is a suck ass drive in the 5.0.

My CT26 equiped, 9 PSI Supra probably puts down 200 rwhp, give or take. No reason to strap mine down.

But I do want to see the the others.

Should have Tony Orta of Final Stage Racing and some 1J from JawsGear.

Come on guys.

Bryan - I will beat you senseless if your monster isn't running and in Vegas! j/k

So that makes 3.

We all know Duane is chicken and won't show up again - another friendly jab. :)

It is "we" not just Ron working on the car. We help one another and get things done with different ideas to make our cars our own. Call it some inspiration if you will.

My other more important plans as I stated already but obviously need to mention it: As far as being chicken, (I know you're joking Keith) I have some issues I am dealing with regarding my family right now and one of them are really sick.

Go Brian!

Have fun guys.

Duane - when you do make a return visit to Vegas you will of course have an invitation to the Smackdown (provided it still exists) and also the other invitation I extended last year (provided I am still doing that project as well). I hope your family issues get resolved quickly and that everyone gets better soon.

Hopefully everything is ok Duane, I was hoping on meeting you this year. I like putting a face to the voice. Well next year I guess.

Of course, sitting here typing, I'm not getting my Supra back together, but I'd give it a try.

Don't think it will break 600, but I'd be pleased if it did.

Mods:
Stroker 7MGTE, total displacement is about 3.24L.
Ross Pistons, Pauter Rods, ARP studs for head and crank, custom oil setup with accusump and RX7 cooler.
Rebuilt R154 with new second gears etc.
Everything is coated.
780 Delphi injectors. Two 255lph pumps, Areomotive AFPR.
Maft Pro and PLX wideband.
Masterpower T70 on modified Ebay manifold into 3" exhaust.
14" brakes front and rear with 6 piston and 4 piston wilwood calipers. :)
TEMS tokikio's with B&G springs. ST bars.

It's setup more as a road race car than a dyno mobile or drag racer, so I'm not sure what the ultimate power of this setup will be.

I also need to get it done, and do some tuneing to get it right before Vegas... (Running out of time now, and really my wife does not want to go this year, and it's right over her birthday... Let's see, dog house and the couch and go to Vegas, or stay home... LOL)

shushabitchup kurt. You=ftl. Actually Me=FTL cuz I HIGHLY doubt I'll be at vegas this year, even though I want to go. If I am there it will be 75% courtesy of B005T3D and 25% courtesy of Mazzer (helping with the install of the new motor).
