Hey guys,
I've heard several people comment in the past that SILV is just another MkIV meet and I wanted to put that rumor to rest.
Here are just a few points to show that this is actually THE Supra event to attend!
The core SILV planning team consists of four MkIII owners (covering four states). In addition to this core team we have volunteers that own MkIIs and MkIVs that help out in one way or another throughout the planning and execution of this great Supra tradition.
Four out of our sponsors this year focus their Supra energies on the MkIII.
SupraSport.com LTD - our banner sponsor for the second straight year - has an online catalog full of GREAT products to make your Supra better. http://www.SupraSport.com
Final Stage Racing has done some very incredible things with the 7M-GTE powerplant. Tony and his team are open to help you achieve your horsepower dreams. http://www.LVFinalStage.com
JawsGear has started down the dark path of providing parts for an aging car. Come see their 1JZ-GTE powered MkIII in person this year. http://www.JawsGear.com
Shine Auto Project - providing aero parts that we all want (but are ashamed to admit). Come out and see some of their products first hand at the Show-and-Shine. http://www.ShineAutoProject.com
Last year we had 64 MkIIIs at the Show-and-Shine and this year we already have 63 RSVPd.
Other Sponsors for this years event include:
Champion Toyota Gulf Freeway/ToyotaWorld - Jeff Watson is a familiar name in the Supra community. He has been the Go-To guy for all things Toyota factory related since before most of us even had a Supra. They have sponsored every SILV event since the beginning. http://www.ToyotaWorld.com
HorsepowerFreaks joins us again this year and we should see the white Supra out of Portland tearing up the Dyno and the Dragstrip. http://www.HorsepowerFreaks.com
Wide Open Throttle Motorsports always impresses us at the track and last year topped out the Dyno at more than 1200whp. http://www.WOTM.com
RRev Motorsports returns again this year as a sponsor. Look for their cars on the track and the dyno as well. http://www.RRevMotorsports.com
Where will you be when The Largest Supra Event on the Planet returns for an unparalleled 10th BIG year?
