I have a friend that had a VW golf turbo, it was making something like 400+whp. His exhaust was etup like that right off the trubo, boy was it loud.

hum... I didn't see any mufflers there... but I do agree, we just arn't setup for that type of exhaust. If you ever want to lower her any then your pritty much SOL.

But MAN what a setup slow66 has there... Must be hell on the paint though! (like the spray can wasn't... lmao)

I THOUGHT I'd seen it all... but now I guess the only thing I've NOT seen are STACKS on a Supra!

I've personally seen Bryan's (Slow66) cars. They really are scary. Not to mention his turbo is bigger than my head and I think he wants to go bigger. If you have any questions, PM him. He's a good guy.

It is going to be pretty impressive when it's complete.

:biglaugh: He's sorta local to me, and when I mentioned his screen name to a fellow Supra owner, I was like "um...'flub yux 2?'" where I was corrected with "its flew by you times 2" :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

HAHA. Don't feel bad. Until right now I had no idea thats what it stood for. I also pronounced it fluby-x-2. :icon_surp

if you really want a nice side exit exhaust. Go with oval piping after the DP for maximun clearence and look of the exhaust. I've been thinking about doing that. This is what nascar uses on their cars seeing they are so low.

Flubyux2 did that at the end of his exhaust, as posted. There are marginal power losses over a circular pipe with turbo cars I hear. The piping is more expensive though, and mating a muffler to it requires another expensive adapter. Ultimately, I dont think its worth it. I'll be doing a turn down/out right after my muffler, which will end up right about at the end of the trans.
