The pic with the car on the track and fire coming out just in front of the rear tire, looks a little close to the tire. My opinion is that while side exit exhausts look nice, and even really nice on certain cars, the supra isn't one of them.

For example cars that are more muscle, mean, not slick and sporty like the supra.

I to am thinking of doing a side exhaust. I've only heard of it in a couple of cases on supras. Never really seen one with it done. The pics above look ok. I don't see a side exhaust as ricey. Just different; that apparently not alot of people in the supra community have done. Maybe noise was a problem that came into play. Where I live noise isn't that much of a problem so I think a side exhaust will be interesting. I'll post pics when I get enough money to get it done. (that might be a while lol). I'd like to see or hear from people that have had it done and if they would do it any differently.

Imo, i'm just not feeling the whole side exhaust thing. Gotta love just normal exhaust that supra has on the left side. It's kind of part of the supra's character...having single huge exhuast thas usually tilted up and off to the side in the rear.

I have to agree with you but it's cool to be unique as well.

the bra makes it look even more like a Probe...

You would have one single side exhaust on a supra (the other one posted has a V8 in it, so it's understandable), not to mention the notch in the back would look weird without something there.

Did a mention sidepipes hurt like hell if you touch em? There is a ton of room to tuck them up under by the framerail there, but I would be worried about the undercoating (not an issue on the Type A racecars as most are fully stripped and acid dipped to get them as light as possible)

your ground clearance would be zero with the pipes on the black supra. its unique, yes, but for the roads around here it'd be toast.

don't think normal round exhaust.. oval piping FTW ;)

http://www.ovalexhaust.com/store/home.php?cat=8

4" oval is only 2 3/4" tall by 4 3/8" wide. so that's a 4" pipe area at less than a 3" round pipe height. they have everything to complete the exhaust, and i will be possibly using this stuff
