Okay then IJ and Ron are both showoffs!

The Rx8 racecar I work on has a motec dash with the stock gauge cluster..
It took the guy who does our tuning a little while to get the motec dash to work right with the stock ecu..

This WAS my cockpit setup. I loved it, but now i'm workin' on this new 'under the radar' style
p1216425_3.jpg

see my floor mats? off an Audi B6 A4:biglaugh:
they fit well, in the front at least, but i keep kickin' it up to clutch pedal.:dunno:

p1216425_4.jpg

i spent a lot of time cleanly routing the boost gauge shit through the column cover, but didn't get a shot of it, heh.

and my newest addition!

Wow, thanks!! :)

I used to have 2 gauges on the pillar and 2 on the steering column plus the stock cluster. But I started getting dizzy watching all of them while driving :D
Not blowing smoke up your ass Ron but your car and work have been an inspiration to me for many years now!

Coming from a race background "pretty" was never a concern but I have lifted my game some after seeing how clean your work is. :)

Ditto on the "dizzy" thing I'm old and need all the help I can get ;)

I have the dash set to warn me if there's anything wrong and the M800 set to back off the power.

Wow, so many lights! :D What's that thing next to the apexi unit (which looks like CF?!) with the turbo and oil icons?

It is made from plastic (heat durable) custom made.
The oil thing is the oil level light warning.I have a 2jz under the hood and
it supports this kind of data reading.
The light stays always on.....when it will go off then the oil level in the oil pan will be low which means problem! :sarcasm: I could have made it vissa/versa (to light on when I'll be low on oil level) but I needed to get
a special relay. Now when I turn the car hard on corners I can see the oil
level light going off for a second :biglaugh:

The turbo light is a show of light that indicates 2 and 4 digit numbers....
It is a designation for the sequential twin turbo setup. 1st turbo spools
at about 2k rpm and 2nd turbo kicks in at 4k rpm.....:biglaugh::biglaugh:
The power source light came from the old ashtray light :sarcasm:
Creativity at it's best

/\/\ Yeah I gotta agree, thats pretty badly clutered. You should consider programming that into a digital cluster and cleaning that up a bit :D

I don't think they are badly clutered.....most of them look stock placed,
inside the dashboard's trim. I didn't want to put gauges on the A-pillar.
I don't like the fast & the furious style.....:sarcasm: My 2 cents......

I know i posted mine already but i did some alterations on mine. I fitted a new pillar pod that is custom made for the supra. Real nice fit so i moved my wide band sensor up there as it is more important than the vac gauge.
Anyway more pics.

Thats pretty hectic as well. Can you even see your Apexi accessories good at that angle?

You also have the same air freshner as I do in my other vehicles! :)
