Hey guys, Im 16 my name is Javi I drive a 1989 toyota pickup that I am currently in the process of taking out my 22r to put in my 2jz. I should have the 22r out tomorrow and have the 2jz in and mounts made on monday. Then its all wiring mess from there.

Anyways seein if there is anyone in tampa interested in giving a hand here and there or anyone who know a thing or two about wiring ?? Heres some pics of my truck, and the 2jz I got.


This is how she started when my moms friend gave it to me I think I was 15 and it had about 60,000 miles on it.

heres with the new rims, lower, tint, exaust and stereo.

fresh paint, body work, and roll pan. I did everything but the paint.

and last but not least, the 2jz I got for it came out of a late lexus sc300

You going NA-T? You turned that truck around very nicely. Btw, I hear the 22r is worth a lot of $ so in case you didn't know make sure you get a good amount out of it, I bought an 82 Celica with the 22r and have had $1000 offers on just the running engine!

really ? well I wouldnt mind selling my 22r, or just getting some performance parts for it. It looks as if the 2jz swap will be on hold. so heres what going on...

I am saving up to bag my truck, If I can find a grand or so within a month or 2 (bday is day before christmas so I should be set) I will keep the 2jz and drop it in another pickup shell that I will buy.. as of now the 2jz is for sale to get my truck bagged but I will sooner or later next year buy another pickup and 2jz to drop in it...
