Therefore my initial response to this thread. SM does not engage in "mob rule", meaning we're not going to have a Spaniard love fest, or a Spaniard bashing session. Neither is productive. And the bulk of the participants in either likely don't have all the necessary information to make informed statements.
I'm glad he's settled his financial matters. That's a real plus, it shows character that seems to have been lacking in the past. But the staff has to decide if they really want to give him "another" chance and risk having to clean up yet another mess. And I specifically use the word "another" as this will be another chance in a series of another chances if he's given it at all...
(I'll let you folks in on a little secret - when you give the staff a hard time via public post, PM or email, odds are it winds up in a post in the mod forum with your name in the title. We keep HISTORY. Lots of it. Meaning when issues like this come up, we look at your entire time here at SM, we go back and re-read all those flames, "fuck off" emails and everything else that led up to where you are today... If you've got 3 -5 threads in the mod forum with your name in the title, things do not bode well for you. As I've said in the past, 99.999% of users use this site without problems. That other very small percentage tends to with up with an extensive "profile" in the mod forum. We add to it as things progress. People may have a short memory, but the SM staff does not.)
As it stands all staff members have yet to participate and review the history and actions that are pertinent. Once they have, we'll make our decision. There's a lot of grief and bad blood here, and what you folks have seen is only the tip of the iceberg.
