As I stated before, not only because the paint does not match, you have no contrast. It looks like shit the way it is. You wanted my honest opinion before, you still have it. Like I said and I will reiterate, the black gave your bay some contrast. It looked much better before. Change the couplers to black and you start to have a theme going. ;)

I suggest to change it back and add my last portion to it.

i voted to keep it, but i honestly would have to agree with duane though, it really does need "contrast" or an offset. it seems to be missing anything of opposite color and or a heavy dark color. like im rolling the blue and black. and you do have alot of blue/blue only black things are on the FPR hoses and raditator hose :p idk what to tell ya lol.

Your vote should be put it black then. You need it changed? :D

I should also add that it looks purple. If you do decide to keep it, (which you shouldn't) add a Barney sticker to it also. lol

oh and btw duane you never replied back to my pm :p

supra hero pulled it off lol, but it was just the top vented part not the front timing cover

LOL. The only things I painted black were the strut tower rings and the radiator tie downs. The spark plug valley cover and the cam gear cover were never painted until I painted them with my color matching paint.

I just put back together 99% of my interior (still need to put on the glove box and bolt in the passenger seat). I fired it up since I wasn't 100% sure I did everything correctly with my wiring (relocated the fuse box to be inside the dash behind the glove blox). It fired up on the 2nd try (it's been 2 1/2 months since it last ran). This means that tomorrow I'll pull off the hood and pull it out of the garage for a few pics in the day light so ya'll can see what it really looks like, especially compared to the body. I'll do that first thing in the morning.

LOL. I don't have my radiator installed right now. I only fired it up for a few seconds. I was moreso thinking of spray painting the old crank pulley gold and then doing the same to a chain and hanging it around my neck for halloween :D If it looks like it belongs, then you've done your job well.

I voted for painting them black again but you could probably keep them the same color if you added something for contrast. Maybe paint the highlighted lettering black or some other detail.

I'm starting to really like that idea.

Trevor, those won't work. I need my cover to be raised. Besides, Gord promised he'd make me one :)
