Looks like a glorified go-cart to me. But if that's your thing; $3500 seems more than resonable. However, I gotta wonder what the operating cost of one of those would be.

$3500 for that? i'd definitely go for it if you've got the $$ sitting around.

+ a fuckin million.

the 2 projects not 3 thing is true, yea more projects more money more trouble but he could easily have fun with that car turn around and flip it for double what he paid.

that cars prolly not just stuck to autocross (and auto-x is FAR from boring) im willing to bet he can do some road course with it too just have to take a look at the SCCA rule book.

for 3500 thats a damn steal!!! I dont see how it sounds like a POS or even see how its relevant to say he should just focus on the supra.........talk about a whole lotta supra or nothin in this thread :nono:

After looking at the build pics I'm not terribly impressed to be honest, looked ok in the vid but after seeing some of the work I'm not so sure...

im at the point where i am trying to buy this, i dont really consider this car a project, it is built, race ready, and lots of spares involved for mine. i also dont consider the supra a project as it is a daily driver for me, runs great, and has no issues(that i cannot live with). i was going to swap my supra over to a 5spd, have most of the parts already, but it isnt required to enjoy the supra as is.

and im not worried about having 20 or so cars , in fact i probably have more than that already. i have 5 in the driveway right now 2 in kentucky, and quite a few parts cars at the farm. none of the 7 drivers are projects(only delema is what do i drive /insure at any given time) il probably fly down to kentucky, visit the parents, then take my g-pa's old truck(willed to me 3 years ago when he passed) and go get it, the neighbors will love he for bringing 2 new arrivals up here

i love the build probably more than the final product. im a gearhead, i build cars for fun.

i agree with supraman, it is a hell of a lot of fun to autocross, and this car only lacks a decent cage to be allowed on most road courses. that is easily accomplished.
