Should i buy 89 turbo supra or save my money?

I paid $1,200 for my 87 Turbo Targa 5Spd, with trashed interior, BHG, and it didn't start... oh, and I had to tow it 70+ miles to get it home...

$500 for mine, no rust, straight body, great interior, 145k miles.
Im replacing the engine so thats where the money is going. The only way you could get 8500 for that car is it had a transplant and a lot of mods with little miles on them.

That supra is only worth $8500 with rust if it's got $10k worth of recent mods...

Hold steering wheel with right hand and never shift on corners

or the way i like is burger left hand, stick right hand when needed and wheel with left knee or right hand when shifting not necessary...

You're 18, you should start saving every dime you can now unless you want to work until for the rest of your life. Think house and education, not car. Oh, and the car is way overpriced. Hey, you asked....
