If you actually do attempt this, you will undoubtedly find out why. Especially if you use CNC'd aluminum and lathed steel, like the current ones.

I look forward to finding out :). Mine won't be pretty or nice, probably, but I am convinced that all that I need is a rod and a place for the rod to pivot. I'm most likely wrong, as I often am, but this is how I learn :). I'll let you guys know how bad I fail when I get around to actually doing it!
