ive actually heard of this "mookeeh" before, research on here a bit before you decide yay or nay, either way you can always do the homemade apporach for free

I asked someone who is using this in his very kool Supra and I was told

"Yeahhhh... the shifts have really shortened and it
feels quite solid!
One think : Do not use the small (white plastic o-ring) bush that the MK1 mookeeh set has!
Cause it went into pieces after some weeks.It is
the MK1's weak point! Get a new one from toyota
part number 33548-31010 ...it costs about $ 2 USD!
Then with a small adjustment will fit the MK1 quite
well and it will stay put on it for decades "

Modding a stock shifter isnt the same as a real short shifter I thought? You can lower the knob on a stock shifter but thats not the point of a short throw shifter. You want a shorter throw but keeping the knob high up.

To make it a shorter throw and keep the height you have to change the pivot point. By just lowering the knob your not changing the pivot point. Just grab a stock shifter a few inches below the shift knob and shift, doesnt make a big difference...

I have the TRL(Torrie) short shifter in my car, awesome quality and stupidly short throws. Apparently has shorter throw then the C's. Only cost me $240AUD too compared to $300+ for the C's.

I've been talking to this guy for a while about the shifter. definitely looks to an awesome piece.
Height of shifter is 250mm, but he says he can make custom height for no extra charge when I asked him about the height.

My car came with a short throw shifter. I thought it was the ebay one until this statement. Mine has two metal half circles where the stock bushing would sit, is this a C's or ??? ?
