i've driven cars with shortshifts, and i ended up going with the sogi shortshift mod, except a bit shorter than that mod even calls for. i rethreaded thelower stick to accept the stock knob. it looks and works great.

i had a wicked vibration right after i did it, and i found that i was completely missing the bushing in there. (didn't even know there was supposed to be one) i got the "green truck shifter gakset" or whatever it's called, and i love my SOGI mod even more. shifts like butter, and i can feel each gear perfectly...

I don't know how you can stand it being that short, would drive me nuts. C's or Jim King is the way to go IMO.

Where did you buy the green truck bushing from, and how much was it?

I got both bushings from the dealership that I work at. After my discount I think I paid not more than $10. If you want me to I can probably pick some up on monday , stick them in an envelope and send them to you. I don't want to make a profit so just pay me back (paypal) whatever I pay for them. Let me know if you are interested. That goes for any part and anyone!! Always willing to help my fellow Supra brothers!!

I come from a land down under
I ran the SSV2 for awhile and it has some height adjustment and is much shorter throw than stock and doesn't hum like a Sogi!

When I changed to the Tremec it's stock shift has a nice throw so I adapted a stock Mk3 handle to it!

Is c's short shifter the same height as the stock also?

C's is slightly taller than the stock shifter.
The shift fulcrum is rather long. This will be noticable
when installed on a used (worn) transmission. One may
experience shift engagement issues.

S3 V2 is 1" shorter height than stock.
The fulcrum was tuned to compensate for a used transmission.
