Short block assembly

What is a reasonable price for a shop to assemble it, assuming I provide parts????

i think ive heard of 400. start calling and list some prices you find.

A pretty reputable shop in the area said $625..... that is all i have so far.

I think mine was $250. But he did all of the engine work and the total bill was around 1800.

Yea, My machinist quoted me 240 CAD to assemble a shortblock.

Thats after boring, valve job, crank grind and me buying all my parts from him.

Heh.
