Hey im lookin to get a shine auto front lip in the next few weeks. The website says you can get em in carbon fiber. I was wondering if any one has one is carbon or knows where i can get a good front lip in carbon fiber?

While Shine could make a lip in carbon, it will not hold up well to scrapes and bumps. Shine's flexible fiberglass lip would be a much better option.
In addition to their regular flexible fiberglass material, you could order parts that utilize their "Super Hybrid" FRP material for the same price.

Damn. Im getting my next lip in that super frp for sure.
You could come up with a way top mount it in the stock locations.
I just use a self tapping screw on each end.(2) Nothing else. So when it hits on something it just bounches up instead of cracking all over. Better to have the least amount of mounting point.

I know another member with the same lip that was thinking along the same lines as you while mounting the lip. He used the minimal amount of screws and used velcro tape. So in case the lip made contact with either the ground or objects, the lip would give way and sustain less damage (compared mouting the lip rigidly with many screws).
Ya i orig had 4 screws in it. But after a while the lip didnt like the 2 by the fog lights. So i just left it with the 2 on the ends and my lip has been holding up 10x better.
