I had the same situation....

the two bolts that hold the WG on the turbo housing are what you shim. Mind you that you will need LONGER bolts when you space them with the shims.

It only took me 30 minutes including popping the hood and taking off the I/C pipes...worth EVERY DIME!!!! 14lbs untuned hahahah

you dont need longer bolts unless you put more than like 6 washers in there. 4 washers took me to 10 pounds of boost. any more than that and id think youd dramatically decrease your actuators life.

I have MDC's thickest washers on mine....I NEEDED THE LONGER BOLTS...especially when you are dealing with old aluminum...you need as much bite and grip on the soft metal threads as possible..you dont want to strip out your WG tap's on the turbo!!! LOL that would be el' sucko!
