Shifter Problem

Can anybody identify this? Got it from a friend and the plastic piece looks worn, can it be replaced? Does our stock one have that on it or is that just an aftermarket feature?

Sorry for a crappy cell pic but it's the best I got right now until tonight but maybe somebody can figure it out?

oh it's a crappy picture haha okay for now maybe we can problem solve.. I'm talking about the plastic piece in the larger ball that sits on the side.

Search "shifter bushings" there are a lot of threads here. Martin Crawler is a manufacture of bushings.
