The green bushing/gasket isn't even a stock supra part, so far as I could tell. It's from a Toyota truck, and it's been a SOGI trick to install it in our transmissions for years...

The blue part (the bushing that is actually white) is just a wear item -- it'll develop some slop over time so replacing it makes it feel new again.

I don't know of anyone else's experience with the marlin crawler gasket, but I had to dremel quite a bit of it off to fit into my W58...it isn't somewhat soft and flexible like the green ones are, and the OD was much too large to pivot on the pins and into place like the site says (yes I did put the notches on the pins the right way ;)). It did improve the feel a bit..but that's coming from an old, dry, cracked green one.

as far as the OEM part, my dealer would have to order all of the $120 shifter assembly...but that's going by the Supra EPC and not the one posted. I wish I knew of that 3 months ago!

Yes I had the same issues. Mine didn't even exist so it was a HUGE improvement after some trimming.

you had to trim it? theres a trick to getting it in

what I did when I found out it was too wide was press it in firmly against the housing to make marks on the side and just dremeled it off from those with an endmill, checking back to see if it would go in. I made at least 15 trips from the bench to the car, but finally got it in.
