Last night I installed a new gasket on my shifter, it's the red one in this pic:
and the 4 bolts were not holding the plate all the way, there was a 1-2 mm gap I could push down on and it would spring back up when I let go.
I just kept torquing the bolts but the gap wouldn't close, one bolt tore halfway through but luckily I got it out and the rest were stripping/snapping as well.
Are these the right bolts?
