Go with a black shift boot and a TRD knob, it will look good in your tan interior. Toyota switched it to black for 89+ and I think it looks better, regardless of the rest of the interior's colour. That part of the console is black already, so having the shifter interior-coloured looks goofy to me.

Go black!

Jeff

good point... I think it's a great idea, and my shift boot is getting worn anyways... thanks!

This guy I know has one on his FC.I hate how it looks because it looks like it belongs in a old school musle car but it dose feel real nice.

^I like it but it kind of reminds me of something.^

yea i agree, i have a custom homeade shortshifter lol, so that hurst is amazing, its so smooth, but i get tired of it every now and again so i go with the trd knob, which is my current, however i do like to mix it up quite often, i have about thirty shift knobs between my two vehicles

I  my team voodoo shift knob
They are verry cheap & heavy & threaded for toyota which means its not like those generic rice ones that pop off when your shifting etc.

They do
titanium
aluminum
stainless steel
they do finishes in
satan black
spun
crinkle grip coated
polished
powder coated

They thread them for toyotas nissan mazda etc.

mine is out of an MR2 turbo (92 and up model) I love the way it sits, it's never too hot and it has a rubber sort of feel. It's top heavy and works really well.

TRD knob is heavier than stock, so it does help with shifting.

Real leather also doesn't get slick with sweat like fake leather or other surfaces...

I love my TRD shift knob. Too bad they cost ya through the ass and I've noticed that on abnormally hot days the trd decals start to get mushy from the glue getting soft.

Ordered a TRD today. :)

Currently I have the stock knob without any of the leather that originally wrapped it. :(

Can't wait to install the trd!!! With empera's boots and the new knob, my interior will look shiney and new. :D
