Yea I intend to keep the car clean and what not and eventually replace the engine If i so happened to get it... Right now my budget is only limited to about 5000 so I need to find a Supra that will last me until I can further upgrade it.

suprasport has new harness for a decent price if you call and talk with greg he might even hook it up a little, i got mine with metal clips for the firewall and around the intake manifold for $489 to the door, it takes a couple of weeks thoughi would recomend geting it instead of trying to fix the existing oneas after i took my old one out there was way more than i thought was wrong with it, both know sensors were fubar, one hanging on by one strand of copper and the other completely torn away from the harness, plus theres really nothing better than brand new clips for everything under the hood (not body stuff) though.and yes like some others have told you keep the 5k for repairs for a while before starting to buy "fun" parts as they will just make you have to buy "not fun" parts even sooner than you may want too.

later,
ross

The guy who is selling the Supra is a car enthusiast as well but he needs the money too... We both checked just about everything... and we checked the harness too... It starts, new hg, new head, spark plugs, sp wires, fuel pump etc... Electrically the car is sound

Drive it around long enough for it to overheat. Not a 5 minute drive, a 45 min drive, and climb a few hills to put some load on the engine. I know several people who test drove a Supra and bought it, only to have it overheat on the long drive home. Otherwise, it sounds like a good deal.

Thats what happened to me I drove mine for about 25 minutes no problem I even let it sit idling for 10 then i drove it 1 hour home and sure enough overheated about 2 blocks from my house.
