its not that i dont want one. to tell you the truth i haven't bothered looking. for some reason i doubt i'll find too many people that have spares in good condition. Figured it might be easier to fab up my own than try to locate one in good shape. And this thread isn't about controlling Blown Head Gaskets... its about idea's on making an engine undercover. The head gasket part was just a bit of history thrown in to start things off...

i like the sheet metal route too. kind of a custom apearance and its longer lasting. Imma check with Head Quarter Toyota and see how much they charge for one. If its too much, sheet metal it is.

On the other note $123 for that under cover seems like a fair price. I wonder if others know that toyota still makes them. I ask because I have watched one on ebay sell for $170+ a couple months ago.
Just click on a part number on a diagram and you get the real part number and price (it's a Jay Marks Price from like 2002?)
doesn't do-luck make one for the supra? i coulda sworn i remember having seen one on their page befor. with the vents on the bottom and all. can't seem to find it tho.
