Track and street car ;) mostly track but i plan to drive the car as much as it will let me! I was planning on a 150shot (direct port) to get it moving. As for the converter, im not exactly sure yet. I havnt looked to much into what stall i should be buying, but thats coming soon.

As for hams car seeing the road... it will most definitly hit the road again! Its a shame what was done to it, but the chassis is very clean, and with a new splash of paint will look 100% again!

What track are you racing at back there? I go back to Winnipeg once or twice a year to see family, would love to see the car some time.

LOL, thanks IJ :) You really have no clue how much angry pm's i get about "hams" old car.... Im not even the one that parted it out! Im just the poor sucker that bought it in pieces and got stuck trying to put it back together.

The interior might have been really nice at one point, but the owner before me used the interior to store greasy, oily, parts in it. So alot of the dash panals were stained or cut from the parts. I managed to salvage some parts, others either need to be replaced or im leaving out.

I was one of the last people to ride in it before Hams had to sell it, it really was a spectacular example of what a Mk3 should be.

I'm supremely happy to see somebody with great fabrication skills bringing this car back to its former glory, albeit in a very different manner :)

Keep up the great work!

FYI this is what it looked like before I sold it...

It was by far not a perfect car; but mechanically it was harmony. It needed nothing and was ridiculously fast. I should also note that it had ALL VIN's, and I purchased it from the original owner. :(

Notice the gauge cluster?? I installed Greddy electronic 52mm gauges into the cluster behind the plastic lens for a OEM look. I replaced the coolant temp, the boost gauge and oil pressure gauge. I also modded the entire cluster for amber illumination to include the climate control:

The car wasn't pieced together; it was a labor of love for me over 4 years. Sure, it wasn't perfect. I had a love-affair for the A70, the hardtop, and specifically, the two-tone brown.

It is my desire to own another A70, but I think the next car will be a black/black 2.5R, if I can find one worth owning.
