Today the beautiful car was sitting in the garage, just as it had sat the day before, and the day before that. She was collecting dust from being in the garage for more than two weeks. She begged to be driven, she begged to be taken around the block. But, I had to resist the temptation, as the reason it had been in the garage was because of rod knock. Little did she know that she would soon be getting a new motor, and some fresh coats of paint. I fired her up, the smell of oil and fuel was in the garage, she deserved to be washed. I gave her a long deserving bath, you could tell she needed it from the many layers of dust it had. I dried her off and pulled her in the garage once again, the place which has been her home for more than a month. I admired the beauty her, the fine lines, the beautiful craftmanship (even regardless of the fading paint). She is a beautiful girl, and will be even more so once the new motor and paint come.
So that was my artistic story, not bad eh? :icon_razz The JDM 7M-GE is gonna be picked up this week, the prep work of taking the old motor old should take place this weekend if we're on schedule. If things go according to plan, we should be installing the new motor either next week, or next weekend. The car is also getting a fresh clutch kit, new bearings, etc. The car is also getting a shortened shifter assembly, courtesy of Mazzer (thanks alot man). We will also be giving it a full brakes upgrade, with 4 Brembo OEM replacement rotors, along with PBR Deluxe brake pads. Hopefully, a week or so after all of this takes place, she'll be getting some fresh coats of paint, a thing that she so rightfully deserves. I'll keep you guys updated on the build.
