My car at around 80-90MPH has some severe vibrations and shakes at high speeds. I know I need to get a alignment but are there any other things that could cause it to behave this way?

Spin all the wheels up independently and make sure they are round, unbent, and balanced. Check your tires carefully for any ballooning or torn layers. Check your front suspension components, (like inner tie rods, balljoints). Make sure your d/s and carrier bearing (if you have one) is A1. While your under there, ensure your sways, endlinks, traction bars, and tranny mounts are all good as well, Gl!

Is it speed related or drivetrain related? I have had a couple of different brands of cars (Subaru, Suzuki, Mitsubishi) come into the shop complaining of a vibration and the fault was an incorrectly tightened crank pulley that had started to come loose. Just one more thing to check....

Just now I went to go see if the lug nuts needed to be re torqued. I jacked up each side and started tightening them. None of them were loose but I did notice that my rear divers side wheel jiggles and I can shake it by moving it with my hands. It does not move much but it still concerns me. Is there anything loose under there that I should torque down?

I checked tire pressure, it was fine. And all the tires are the same size and same brand.
