No ball is perfectly round, and no two balls are close enough to be "accurate" at long distances. Even with the pointless 20" Sniper barrels. After the first 6 inches, the barrel's only purpose is gass exhausting, break clearing, and ball control(shorter barrel allows you to play closer to a bunker.)
