OK so ive got BHG blues DUH! :icon_evil Water and oil have mixed in the pan but luckliy the car wasnt driven after she blew.
I know that I have to pull the oil pan to be sure all is clean .
:1zhelp: The Question is how do I get the residual water out of the oil pump/block/and crank ? Can I pressurize the system somewhere? Can I use some type of solvents to flush it out?

I was actually wondering the same thing, I have a 1jz that I'm cleaning up. I'm pulling everything off the motor to clean all the oil passages and coolant passages. I was thinking about using diesel or kerosene but I don't know If I'll be able to flush all the bearings and seals out with oil before start up.

yeah initally i thought about that (using kerosene) but I'd like feedback before I do. Thought about using compressed air and a siphon gun and spray it in the oil passages till its clear.

I'm not the best person to ask... when I blew a head gasket on my Camaro, I pulled the engine and completely cleaned everything by hand.

Went ahead and freshened it up, as well ;)

I would flush the system out with oil, just fill and empty twice...then fill again, and let the engine idle for a couple of minutes, then change the oil again, repeat 3-5 times. Then I would drive it around a little more, and then change the oil, repeat two more times. :)

That's what I did to my car (used cheap oil) and it has been fine.
